Super Talent Released New USB 3.0 with 32GB Capacity

Super talent once again broke its silence in order to step up and announce that a certain series of flash drives has now grown with the addition of one member, which is fast and more capacious than its siblings.

Since capacity and speed are the two things that define a storage device, it makes sense that Super Talent would do its best to optimize both aspects when making its best and latest USB 3.0 flash drive.

With all the advancements in NAND Flash memory and the transition to smaller manufacturing processes, giving a Flash Drive multi-gigabyte storage is quite easy, even when it comes to 16 GB or above.

Also, in order to ensure high speed transfers, one need only utilize the most advanced connectivity interface on hand.

Currently, very fast transfer rates, for storage units that are connected to PCs externally, are the ones delivered by the USB 3.0 interface.

For those in need of a reminder, the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 standard has a theoretical maximum speed of roughly 5 Gbps, ten times that of USB 2.0.

The new drive from Super Talent features this technology, as well as no less than 32 GB of storage inside a package measuring just 67.8 x 17.2 x 7.7 mm.

"The USB 3.0 Express DUO has been our best selling USB 3.0 flash drive to date. We are please to offer the larger capacity 32GB at such an aggressive price point,” said CH Lee COO of SuperTalent.

“With USB 3.0 prices like these, there’s simply really no reason to buy a USB 2.0 flash drive anymore."

The maximum transfer speed attainable by the newcomer, which is part of the Express Duo collection of products, is 67 MB/s.

Online stores should start listing it soon, if they haven't already, with a price of $59 Euro and accompanied by a five-year warranty.
