Like many of its peers, Gigabyte has been releasing devices left and right and for a variety of market segments, though it appears that it is not yet ready to call it a day, having also put together a certain wireless peripheral.
The most recent so-called news related to this company dealt with the impending arrival of the E1500 mobile personal computer.
Now, the outfit is addressing a more or less completely consumer base altogether, that of users from the peripheral market.
Basically, Gigabyte created a certain mouse known as M7770 and intended for mobile use.
This is, of course, not the first wireless mouse to grace the worldwide market, but it does have certain assets that only the more recent and competent wireless peripherals have begun to include in their builds.
The first one is 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, which not only lets the mouse communicate with a PC from fairly long distances but also does it without latency, or if there is latency, it is negligible.
The second asset of this particular mouse is the laser sensor. Inherently superior to optical sensors, the one used in this instance is capable of 1,600 dpi.
There is even a special button on the back of the mouse, which is used to switch the dpi itself.
The sensor and wireless transmitter are kept operational by a pair of AAA batteries, which can last for up to 6 months on a single charge.
As for the actual design, the hardware is packed inside a frame measuring 80 (L) x 53 (W) x 32 (H) mm.
There are also rubber inserts on the sides, which ensure a firm grip, plus a nano receiver, which is included in the product bundle.
Finally, gigabyte is offering two versions of the mouse, one colored Noble Black and one with a Silver color theme. Unfortunately, a price was not mentioned, although shipments should be able to commence soon.
